Okay guys its been a long time. Apologies, i've been really really busy. Not so much that i'm dead yet but the only thing keeping me going now is that trip to Manchester during the Winter Break. Adalia and I are going to sort out the flight stuff tomorrow and we'll get those tickets to the matches soon after. Excited muchly, i am. No seriously.

Anyway today's Halloween, I am being the Halloween Grinch and am not handing out Candy to the kids. Why? Simply because a. I'm not really into kids, b. we didn't do this while I was growing up so get over it and c. I can't be arsed to go and buy candy. But miss the opportunity to ruin some kids' teeth you say? Yeah..too tired to do anything evil. God I'll fail at being a villain. But i'll be good at being a part time villain. Plus, I've got an assignment due by midnight tomorrow which I have yet to start. Evil is busy! Go and play in your elevated hyper active state because of all the candy, children!

What else..Another essay due on Tuesday, presentation on Friday, Essay on Global Politics due the week after, followed by Essay for Intro to Politics, and then all that's wrapped up on the week of November 22nd. November 30th, my non-birthday, i will be spending it with my pen and brains spewing out political rhetoric on a piece of paper in some dull, you-are-doomed grey exam hall.

I am developing a rather worrying liking for Cesc Fabregas. Did you know he and Gerard Pique are good friends? Catalonia Boys = <3. And Gerard Pique is my new favourite Man Utd Player.

Hope all the 3rd year attachments/internships are going well for all of you!

My brain feels dead *pokes*

Just so you know, i am not freaking out about being alone now. I think its great actually, seems a little intimidating at first, but i think i'm getting to love it. Like today, i got up, Fel called and said lets go for breakfast. So I got ready, we went to this really nice place. They served the usual north american breakfast stuff but they also had a lot of gourmet breads. I had 2nd helpings of the olive and rosemary bread, it is seriously delicious. I think i'll go back there just for that. And also because the rest of the food is just meh. After that we went shopping, or rather, window shopping. Then I went grocery shopping, she had to rush home because her aunt was calling her non-stop. *lol* I originally wanted to get just some meat and drinks (because i am tired of just OJ and milk) but i ended up getting veggie dip, canned tomato/broth, apples and vegetables. Which weighed a ton and almost tore apart my 99 cent Green Grocery Bag. STILL NO MARMITE!!! Talked to Mom and we just may have figured out that she didn't get it from Loblaws last year but at Gelati. That would explain the blank look on that bleached blonde Loblaws employee when I asked about said marmite.

So i got home around 2.45 pm and decided to start cooking. Prepped everything and just dumped it in the crockpot for stew. I love the crockpot. It is my best friend in the kitchen. Crockpot sounds funny.

After that, cleaned the kitchen, mopped the floor and did some laundry. Then I hit the books finishing my reading for Poli Sci and Humanities. I feel so accomplished today. Now i'm sitting here finishing up the remnants of my chicken veggie stew dinner and a slice of foccacia bread. Verdict: I like it. and that is good enough. Because i'm the one that has to finish the 3/4's of it left in the pot. So, dinner for the next couple of days is settled.

Think there's a good movie showing on TV later, will check that out.

Oh, saw a guy on the bus today who looked EXACTLY LIKE MARCOS BAGHDATIS. That was interesting.

I'm gonna miss two people, 1. Aunty Diane and 2. Jose Mourinho

Aunty Diane went back to Hong Kong this morning and now I am truly on my own. I woke up to an Aunty Di- less house and it was rather sad really. I'm gonna miss her around.

Anyway, as i sit here waiting to go to school, MOURINHO left Chelsea!!! Now can Michael Ballack leave as well? I think Roman has had enough. Gahh, its a pity really, he was so entertaining. From his interaction with the media i.e 'Is it because he's GERMAN?' and his name calling and mind games with other managers e.g Wenger; Voyeur and Benitez; We have 60 points more than you. Goodbye, Jose. Now let's see whether Chelsea can outdo themselves and find a bigger cunt than you were.

Currently waiting for Raymond and Michelle to arrive before dinner can start. Damn i'm starving.

I passed my G-1 Written Test today!! WOOOO. Its only the first step. But it is still the first step. I'll be getting my license in the mail in about 4 weeks, and i'll probably start my driving lessons in February or March. See, here, after you take the theory test, you'll have a period of 8 months before your road test. So during that 8 months, you'll have to complete in class lessons and of course, on the road lessons. So, it doesn't make any sense to start my driving lessons now if I can only take the road test in May. Might as well wait till a few months before, that way i'll still be fresh when the time comes for the driving test.

Now i shall be explaining more about how getting your driver's license works here...Read on if you want to impress people with knowledge of Canada's driving system!

So, after you pass your G-1 Written test, you wait 8 months from that date to take the first road test. Pass that, and you'll be a G-2 licensed driver. Now there are alot of rules which i won't bore you with, but as a G-2 Driver, you basically can't drive on the major highways. After being a G-2 Driver for 6 months, then you'll have to take another road test, which is a freeway/highway test. Highways here are a big deal, thats why there's a normal road test and a highway test. After the highway test, you'll be a fully fledged G licensed Driver!

The whole process sounds rather draggy i know, but hey, i'll be spending the next two years here so i'll have all the time to get a full license. Yes, I sincerely hope that I will not turn out to be a terrible driver.

Reminder to myself, GET:

1. Lab Manual for German Class
2. Card Reader to plug in MAC for Camera

YEEEEES

TMR BAYERN MUNICH VS SCHALKE 04

I didn't get to watch Dortmund thrash Werder!! nargh. Werder...what's happening??
